Another 'too long for Twitter' post

Seriously, people are getting angry NOW that Carlos Celdran is in jail (For the record, I love what he did), when the Catholic Church has been screwing this country since the Spaniards landed on our shores and was responsible for the death of perhaps, one of the greatest, if not THE greatest, Filipino who ever lived

Not to belittle Celdran's effort; I guess I just can't get over Filipinos' sense of priority (e.g., avoiding contraceptives even if they can't afford a child if it means not suffering eternal damnation) and history (short-term memory).

No one else should have to sacrificehandcuffed and put to jailto expose the Catholic Church's sins. Please dust off your Noli Me Tangere and read up on history and current events.

oh yeah. you're right.

pwede bang gawin nating mga gov't officials ang mga nasa simbahan? para sila mamoblema ng mga pondong ginagamit para sa mahihirap na sangkatutak ang mga anak. (at ang pondong yun ay galing sa buwis na kinukuha sa sweldo natin...)

para naman maintindihan nila ang problemang hindi nila maituring na problema talaga.

O kaya ay pagbayarin sila ng buwis para may karapatan na silang mag-ingay. (Mag-ingay lamang, di nangangahulugan na sila ay masusunod.)

Ang yayabang nila -- kala mo kung sinong malinis. No to abortion daw, akala mo naman ay naging tapat sila sa karapatan ng mga bata -- mga manyak, mahahalay at hayop na mga pari lang, di pa nila maipakulong.


At hanggang ngayon ay naghahanap ako sa Internet kung nagpahayag na ba sila ng pagsisisi sa mga nagawa nilang kasalanan sa mga Pilipino noong panahon ng Kastila. Wala pa akong nakita.
